Bilge Köprülü - Footwear Designer

After she graduated from Industrial Product Design Department of Istanbul Technical University In 2004, spent some time in Florence/Italy for making Shoes by hand. Afterwards she started working as a product designer in Hotiç - one of the leading Shoe Companies in Turkey-, than in 4 years she  decided to create her brand name : Ciccí Coccó. Since 2007 Ciccí Coccó was on board mostly in Istanbul, Ankara and London. In 2012 she showed her designs in Istanbul Fashion Week under the sponsorship of Coca Cola and Studio Kaprol.

Beside her designer profile, she worked in Istanbul Fashion Academy (IMA) as Shoes and Accessories Program Leader and as a consultant of materials and accessories in FHNW Academy of Art and Design, Switzerland/Basel. She gave  Accessories design lectures in Mimar Sinan University and Marmara University Fashion Design Department.

Furthermore she worked as a designer assistant to Danielle Harris, Eelko Moorer and Rui Leonardes with their Shoes and Bags Projects In Istanbul. Now she is working in a shoe factory as a footwear design department director.
